What does the well dressed photographer wear?

The Official Not Your Normal School of Photography Hat, of course!!!...

Look sharp, feel good, and take great photos.

You know, you can hone your skills and buy the best equipment, but without the proper hat to go with it all, why even bother leaving the house?

And that's exactly why we created the Official Not Your Normal School of Photography Hat. And let say so myself, this is one fine hat. We didn't cut corners on materials in order to get the el cheapo hat price. No way. You can't get your creative juices flowing to the max if you know you've compromised on your head gear!!!

Take a look at the amazing features of this great hat...

First of all it's made with brushed cotton twill for a rugged look that means "business," but is still soft and elegant. You'll find that the "feel" of this hat makes it more than just great head gear, but a friend and companion you'll want to take with everwhere you go.

Speaking of companions, you certainly want your hat to be "head friendly." And that's what the designer curved bill is all about. It's designed to compliment the curves of your head and face, unlike many straight-billed hats that look like they're dividing you head in two.

Curved bills are also better suited to protecting your face and eyes from light and debris that may attack you from various angles, not just from straight above!

Another advanced feature I think you'll come to really appreciate and demand in all future hats, is the superior adjusting strap. The adjusting strap can be a real weak spot in many hats. I'm sure you've encountered some of the clumsy schemes out there... snaps that don't quite get the fit the way you want it, the leather and clip deal that tends to freeze up and stick, and then there's Velcro...

Velcro is actually a great material for this application because it's easy to use and infinitely adjustable. And let me tell you that, as a frequent "top off" Jeep rider, a precise fit can make the difference between a hat that stays on your head and one that's going, going, gone!

Now, the problem with the Velcro that's used on the cheap hats is that it hangs free. Which means it's free to collect dust and fuzz, flap in the breeze, and since it's difficult to get the two Velcro pieces together in a parralell fashion, these type of hats look sloppy and unprofessional from the back.

There is, however, a solution. Although it adds to the cost, the "tuck-away" velcro adjusting strap provides the "best of all worlds" solution and Pam and I felt it is well worth the addition of this rare feature on the Official Not Your Normal School of Photography Hat.

OK, I bet you didn't know there was so much technology that goes into a hat! I didn't either until we dove into this "head first" so to speak.

And here is something else I learned...

There are "structured" and "unstructured" hats.

Structured hats have stiffeners in them, so you sort of look like a cone head. Plus, they feel rough and stiff.

Naturally, the Official Not Your Normal School of Photography Hat is unstructured so, like all of our materials, it can be best adapted to you. Yes, this hat will certainly envelope your head in a soft, comfortable and accomodating aura that is yours and yours alone.

Four stunning versions to choose from...

Personally, I like the Black version because it matches my Jeep, and originally that was the only color I was going to produce.

But Pam doesn't like black, so we created a White version, and while we were at it, we added the ever-popular Khaki and Denin styles, too.

So take your pick, or acquire the complete collection so you'll be ready to match and accommodate any outfit or occasion!...
